Duncan Alexander Redmond of Camden, Tennessee, was arrested on July 17, 2026, by the Henry County Sheriff's Office Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) unit, FBI Child Exploitation Task Force, and Paris Police Department on charges of aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor. The investigation commenced in May 2025 following a cyber tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children indicating Redmond was using the social media platform KIK to distribute child sexual abuse material. Investigators traced a local IP address in Paris, Tennessee, to Redmond through judicial subpoenas, search warrants, and FLOCK license plate reader technology, culminating in his arrest without incident.
The arrest demonstrates CSAM detection and enforcement capacity—yet interception after distribution leaves victims permanently re-victimised.
