Eight men were arrested in Louisiana on July 29, 2026 following an undercover online operation targeting individuals who use electronic communications to exploit minors for sexual purposes, officials reported. All arrested individuals are facing charges of Indecent Behavior with Juveniles and Computer-Aided Solicitation of a Minor; those arrested include Andrew Belk, 30, of Lafayette; Raul Xochihua, 29, of Lafayette; John Shepard, 39, of Lafayette; David Monroe, 38, of Denham Springs; Dewayne Ordone, 42, of Larose; Hobie Matherne, 32, of Larose; Kenneth Harris, 55, of West Monroe; and Xavier Copeland, 22, of Hammond, who faces two counts each.
