Christopher Fancher, 42, of Sparta, Tennessee, was arrested by the Placer County Sheriff's Office following an investigation into sextortion of a child victim in California. Fancher used social media to communicate with a juvenile victim, demanding nude images and threatening to expose them to the victim's mother if she refused to send more, while also demanding videos of sexual acts and sending gift cards to build trust. Detectives identified additional underage victims during the investigation, including one who met with Fancher at a hotel in Placer County.
