A 24-year-old man, Charles Ezekiel Usner, has been charged in connection with a sextortion ring orchestrated by former Peters Township High School student Zachariah Meyers. According to court documents, Usner sexually assaulted a 15-year-old boy at Peters Lake Park in July 2025 after Meyers directed the teenager to meet him there, and Usner recorded the encounter using the victim's cellphone. The victim later sent the video to Meyers through Telegram as part of what investigators describe as a larger sextortion scheme in which Meyers used fake online identities to target at least 25 minors, manipulating them into sending sexually explicit images and videos.
